Description

    • Backfill of small Roman truncated cut feature [833]. Due to the shape and orientation of this feature, it is possible that this is a truncated Roman grave, although no grave goods were encountered nor any skeletal material (though the latter may have decomposed due to acidity of tile)

  • Cut by early post-Med/ late Med quarry pit to N, Surface of fill slopes down from S. to North.
