- Disturbed cremation urn in upper fill (1780) of quarry pit [1779] and base of cremation with burnt human bone adhering was observed and elements of the same pot-widely scattered around the upper fill. Original position of cremation not known. (Note: position of pot frag recorded on plan of modern truncation of pit 1779). Position marked on plan of modern truncation recorded in this grid square.
