Subgroup Narrative Text

    • In an area of heavy truncation, Post Medieval construction cut [2123] was dug into (2113), samples as <264>, which formed the clayey silt fill of square cut [2114], that was dug into the natural gravels of the site area and was one of the earliest features in this area of the site. The mixed fill of this pit indicated that it was a refuse pit.
