Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Pit cut [1915] was cut into (1974), the fill of [1975], with [1915] being seen as a re-cut of [1975]. Fill (1974) was comparatively sterile, and the function of this feature is uncertain, although [1915] was seen as a refuse pit. Cut [1975] was cut into (1888), the fill of [1889], and again it is possible that [1975] is a recut of [1889]. The function of pit [1889] is uncertain.

    • A total of seven pot sherds were recovered from this feature, all of which were dated to 250-400AD.
