Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Roman pit [1659]=[1654] was dug into (1660), the fill of Roman pit [1662], that also contained primary fill (1661). There was a redeposited cremation in it and a Roman coin found (Find 178), and fill (1662) was sampled as <148>. The pit was notably shallow, and was cut into layer (1677).
