Subgroup Narrative Text

    • A number of grave and cremation burial cuts were dug into (1655), a make up spread, that overly (1677), a further make up spread, both of which probably functioned as leveling deposits. Layer (1677) also held redeposited cremation (1675) that, given it was within the redeposited layer, it indicated that these layers were dug from within the area of the cemetery. These layers overlay (1746), the cremation fill of [1745].

Dating Narrative

    • The 19 pot sherds recovered from (1655) were dated to 120-160AD; the pot of cremation urn (1675) was dated to 50-160; and the seven pot sherds recovered from (1677) were dated to 100-160AD.
