Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Stratigraphically underlying pit cuts [1546] and [1548] was (1528) the fill of [1527]. The fill of this pit consisted of re-deposited brickearth and silty clay with moderate amounts of cultural inclusions, indicating that this was a refuse pit. Cut [1527] is cut into pit fill (1584).
