    • Underlying cut [1406]=[1483] lay (1451) the fill of small circular pit [1450], which was cut into (1531), a layer overlying the natural gravels. Fill (1451) had moderate bone inclusions and could have been a refuse pit, possibly directly related to cemetery.

Dating Narrative

    • No datable ceramics were recovered from the fill of this pit, but given its stratigraphic position it is seen as Roman.
