Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Gravel deposits (1487) and (1584) overlay (1604), the upper fill within irregular linear feature [1606], which also contains primary fill (1605). The mixed fills of this feature indicate that it is a refuse pit. Cut [1606] was cut into (1633), a redeposited brick-earth deposit.

Dating Narrative

    • A total of 21 pot sherds were recovered fill (1605) all of which were dated to 150-400AD, and a total of 19 were recovered from (1604), all of which were dated to 120-160AD.
