Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Underlying Post Medieval agricultural soil (1289) was (1438) the latest fill of [1440], it was probably a dump of building material due to the amount of CBM present. Context (1438) overlay (1441) a layer of inwash into cut [1441], and this overlay (1442), a disturbed or redeposited cremation seemingly dumped within the backfill of [1440]. This overlay (1439), the gravel rich fill of [1440], possibly used as a lining to the pit. Cut [1440] was dug into deposit (1437).
