Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Cremation cut [1073], was dug into (1079), the fill of [1080], the cut of a pit. Its initial shape in plan suggested a grave, but no bone or trace of stain of bone detected. Also, it gets very deep towards its North and much deeper than the normal relatively flat level for the base of a grave cut. The function of this feature is unclear, and cut [1080] was dug into (1005), the fill of the grave cut [1007].
