Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Pit cut [1305] was dug into (1363), the fill of [1362], a shallow Roman pit, which was truncated to the west by Post Medieval foundations. This mixed fill was seen as identical to fills (1347) of [1346] and (1361) of cut [1360]. Cut [1362] was dug into the natural gravels of the site area.
