Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Undrelying the Medieval agricultural soils was (1775) <175> the fill of grave cut [1777], which held burial 1776, that lay supine and was noted to have the lumbar vertebrae curved to one side. Truncated by soakaway in the south and possibly by linear feature [1759] in the north, although this relationship wasdifficult to determine due to the similarity of the sediments.

Dating Narrative

    • A total of 7 pot sherds were recovered from this feature, all of which were dated to 150-300AD. No other dating material was recovered from this feature.
