- Stratigraphically under [1091] and [1099], context (964) formed the fill cut feature [963]. This was initially seen as a ditch cut, but given the extent of truncation this can not be said with any certainty and it is more likely to have been a pit cut; this fits in with the function and form of other associated features in this area of the site. The fill was composed of redeposited aggregates with occasional charcoal flecks, pot, and oyster shell. The feature was heavily truncated, and cut into (966), a redeposited layer of brick-earth.

Dating Narrative

- A total of five pot sherds were recovered from this feature, all of which were dated to 120-160AD.
