- Cut [1160] was dug into (1163), the fill of rectangular pit [1164], that was dug into (1173), the fill of shallow cut [1174]. Fill (1163) is very similar to (1178) which is located just next to (1173). There is no clear edge for the fill on the surface, indicating that it had spilled out over the top of the cut. This is seen as a refuse pit.
