Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Cut [1680] was dug into (1718) the fill of grave cut [1720], that was dug for burial (1719). Burial 1719 was extended-supine, and was located in an area with many inhumation burials and disturbed cremations. This cut is very narrow- just so the body would fit, indicating that there was no coffin. It is located in an area with many inhumations and also disturbed and re-deposited cremations. Stratigraphically it was dug into pit fill (1744).
