    • Underlying Post Medieval soils (549) was (834), an irregular layer, spread on top of brick earth layer. Underlying this was (844)Fill of pit [846]. This was a sandy clayish layer and may have been water lain, it was notably sterile of finds other than occasional charcoal flecks.
