Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Wall {689} was part of a middle phase construction of housing fronting on to Prescot Street. It overlay wall {685}, and in turn had walls {716}, {712}, and internal wall {682} built upon it. It was built from unfrogged brick and ran on a north-south axis.

Dating Narrative

    • The unfrogged brick and late stratigraphic position of this feature show it to be of Stewart/Georgian construction, and forming part of the housing that fronted on to Prescot Street.
