- Pit cut [576] was dug into (573), the upper fill of [574], a pit that also contained primary fill (615). The pit is seen as a refuse pit, with context (573) forming a later capping layer.

Dating Narrative

- A total of 30 pot sherds were recovered from this back fill deposit. Of these six were dated to 1400-1500AD, with the remaining 24 being dated to 1550-1600AD. The earlier sherds are seen as residual.
