- Pit cut [576] was dug into (573), the upper fill of [574], a quarry pit that also contained primary fill (615). This pit is seen as a refuse pit with (615) forming the refuse deposit. Upper fill (573), subgroup (141), formed a later capping layer for the pit.

Dating Narrative

- This pit yielded 37 pot sherds, 12 of which were dated to 1400-1500AD, and 25 of which were dated to 1480-1550AD. The earlier pot sherds are seen as residual.
