- Underlying (549) was a (841), a fairly mixed fill of cut [840]. Fragments of CBM/Pot but very heavily abraded - no other finds were recovered from this pit. The cut was a sub-rectangular feature- truncated by probing wall.

- No datable material was recovered from this feature, but given its stratigraphic position it is seen as early Roman.
