- In the north west of zone 1 was red brick well {505}, built into construction cut [506]. It was filled with (507), a dark blue grey clayey organic layer. This deposit ran to the base of the masonry. At the base of the well cut was (879), an organic layer sampled as <10>.

- No dating evidence was retrived from these organic rich fills. However given their stratigraphic position and their function, they are clearly late Post Medieval.
