- Roman pit cut [719] was dug into (782), the fill of quarry pit [755]. This appears to be a quarry pit, in a series of quarry pits. It seems that after the gravel was extracted the gravel around the edges slumped inwards. Cut [755] was dug into (838), the sterile fill of (835).

Dating Narrative

- A total of three pot sherds were recovered from this feature all of which dated to 50-250 AD.
