- In an area of heavy truncation, cut [1880] was dug into (1800) the fill of grave cut [1799], containing skeleton 1798, a disturbed inhumation. Grave cut [1799] was cut into (1790). Subgroup 75 held inclusions of occasional charcoal lumps, burnt bone frags, and pottery sherds, and was initially interpreted as a cremation; however the amount of indentifiable bone was negligable and so its function was uncertain. It is seen as a feature associated with the burial in grave cut [1799]. Linear cut [1759] was dug into (1795) the fill of post hole [1796]. It is possible that it was related to (1814), the fill of post hole [1815], that was also associated with cut [1759], which could have been a structural cut. Cut [1795] was dug into (1790), the back fill of quarry pit [1791].
