Basic Information

  • Intercutting refuse pits

Sub Groups

  • Sub Group: PCO06_225
    • Cut and fill of pit
  • Sub Group: PCO06_227
    • Irregular cut and fill of pit

Group Description

    • There was a very diffuse border with pits [827] and [830], and it was noted that the features had similar fills. It was determined [827] had cut into (831), the fill of [830]. Pit cut [830] was dug into (847), the fill of Roman ditch [848]. The heavily mixed abraded fills of these pits indicates that they were refuse pits.
