Description

    • Backfill of cut [1801], which was dug for chest burial (1817), which contained cremation (1816). This fill held glass vessels and a rare glass plate. The boundaries of the cremation formed a neat rectangle suggesting that the cremation had been placed in a box. There was also iron objects (fittings?) towards the upper part of the cremation fill further suggesting a box.
