Description

    • Cut containing fills 1571, 1572.

    • Cut of a linear feature, partially excavated in zone 2 - waht was thought to be the dege of a steep cut circular or oval-shaped feature. Contains possible re-cut 2014. However ased on the fact it seems relatively short linear feature and considering its proximity to a possible beam slot 1406 (and in fact it meets the beam slot at a right angle) one has to consider a structural interpretation to this feature. If this is done, the so-called recut 2014 could represent the edge of packing material on one side of a foundation (poss another but larger sixed beamslot foundation?). Relationship to 1406, unclear, but I personally think 1406 was overcut at the S end. It seems that 1406 is cut by 1574.
