    • Roman leveling deposit (959) overlay (1195), the upper fill of pit [1196], that also held primary fill (1197). These mixed fills were seen as refuse deposits, and cut [1197] was dug into gravel deposit (1188).

Dating Narrative

    • A total of 27 pot sherds were recovered from the fills of this feature, 15 of which were dated to 140-160AD, and 13 were dated to 120-160AD.
