Subgroup Narrative Text

    • This was a shallow cut, heavily truncated, and filled by reddish brown sandy clay (237) that held frequent cultural incursions. It was cut by [234], and was dug into (239). This feature was probably a refuse pit.

Dating Narrative

    • No datable finds were recovered from the fill of this pit, but given its stratigraphic position it is seen as Roman.
