Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Post Medieval construction cut [1008] was dug into Early Post Medieval pit fill (986) the upper fill of [989], a pit that also contained fills (987) and primary fill (988). The silty nature of the primary fill and the limited cultural debris included indicate that (988) was a sedimentary build up once the pit had been abandoned. Pit cut [989] was dug into (1009), the latest fill of an Early Post Medieval quarry pit.
