Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Large Post Medieval quarry pit [639] cut into (790) the latest fill of pit [672], which also contained primary fill (813). Both fills were a dump of organic and household matter, and a large amounts of shells, forming a very mixed back fill. Refuse pit [672] was dug into (632) and (832).

Dating Narrative

    • A total of 42 pot sherds were recovered from (813), 38 of which were dated to 1500-1550AD, and six of which were dated to 1450-1500AD. One sherd was recorded from (790), and was dated to 1480-1600AD.
