Context  was stratigraphically overlying (1005), the fill of the grave cut , that supported heavily erroded and truncated skeleton 1006. There were no finds in (1005). Cut  was fairly diffuse. Cut  truncates grave , with (1081) being the fill of grave , and containing skeleton 1083, which had heavily erroded leaving only a skull and a few heavily fragmented other bones in 1082.
No dating material was recovered from this feature. However, given its relative stratigraphic position, it is clearly Roman.
