- Oval pit [1271] was cut into grave fill (1295) that filled grave cut [1294]. This grave contained skeleton 1296 that had been heavily effected by poor conditions of preservation, as such, only the long bones survived. Cut [1321] was dug into (1345), the fill of [1344], this feature was thought to be an unurned cremation, but the bone recovered from this feature was negligible. Possibly part of a family plot. Cut [1344] was dug into (1355) the fill of grave cut [1354], that held inhumation 1356, of which only two bones in situ. Grave cut [1354] was dug into (1331), the fill of a possible cremation, that lay in cut [1330], which was dug straight into the natural gravels. This was possibly a family plot, indicated by the burials respecting each other, and so indicating that the position of the interments was marked for later identification.
