Description

    • Backfill of horncore pit 513. Contained finds of clay pipe & pottery which are distinctly post-medieval. Fill was more organic in nature at about 110 cm depth - containing some preserved wood (see sheets 517 & 518) - but this did not indicate a change in fill.
