Description

    • [513] is the structure for a horncore pit. 513 is within close proximity to well [505] (about 1-2m south of 513) & soakaway 527 (about 2-3m southeast of [513]) - these are both brick lined features. The fill with the horncores contained clay pipe, glass & pottery which made the dating obviously post-medieval. [513] is contemporary with fill (516) & within cut [514].
