Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Pit cut [1346] was cut into (1325), the fill of [1324]. The edges of pit [1324] appeared truncated to the north, south, and west. One remaining edge remained to the east. A large tegula tile, almost complete was recovered from (1325), and the mixed fill of this pit indicate that it was a refuse pit. Cut [1324] was dug into (1327) the fill of [1326], a linear trench like feature.

Dating Narrative

    • A total of 11 pot sherds were recovered from the fill of this pit, all of which were dated to 120-160AD.
