Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Layer (1390) overlay (1423), a redeposited gravel with dark silt, that overlay (1475), a further redeposited gravel, that held the inclusion of a long bone, indicating that these leveling deposits derived from the area of the cemetery. Underlying (1475) lay (1477), a gravel deposit heavily truncated by later intrusions. This series of gravel deposits are seen as leveling deposits. Context (1477) overlay (1575), a secondary fill of [1576], a pit cut that was dug into the natural gravel.
