- In an area of heavy truncation, underlying the modern overburden lay (1969), the fill of pit cut [1970]. The mixed nature of the fill of [1970] suggest this was a refuse pit, which was dug into (1968), the fill of [1989].

- A total of 16 pot sherds were recovered from the fill of this pit, all of which were dated to 100-120AD.
