Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Foundation trench [1455] was dug into (1508), a dump of chalk fragments that lay in heavily truncated cut [1509], that appeared to have an alignment of SE-NW, and possibly represented foundation rubble, and was associated with [1455], Pit cut [1509] was stratigraphically above masonry dump {1591}, which may have been associated with building remains in the area.
