Interpretation

    • Identified bones: cranium, rib, 1 phalange/metacarpal, 1 long bone (in situ with urn) 2/3 iron nails found near top of broken urn. If these nails had been scooped up from cremation pyre, then the creamation may exist of more than one body?

  • The urn has been broken due to truncation by masonry. All bone appears to be well calcified and fragmented due to teh acidity of fill; Sample No. 43
