Environmental Impact Assessment
L – P : Archaeology has extensive experience of compiling Environmental Impact Assessments. Our consultants have expertise of working as part of large project teams of environmental consultants and can provide advice at each step of the process. The wealth of specialist skills within the company means we can undertake any or all aspects of the cultural heritage chapter. Our staff can produce the complete cultural heritage chapter in the format required by the client, with no need for external input.
L – P: Archaeology provides the three specialist services listed below, as required by the client. But our unique skill lies in drawing together the three strands to create a coherent picture and an assessment of the Historic Environment as a whole.
BUILT HERITAGE ASSESSMENT
Depending on the size of the development, we can provide the appropriate scale of assessment of the built heritage. Our building specialists have worked on large-scale developments which require assessment of the built heritage character of whole landscapes. On a smaller scale, we can work at a more detailed level in assessing buildings.
HISTORIC LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT
Our specialists provide assessments of the historic landscape to a level necessary to the development.
ARCHAEOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT
Our team can carry out archaeological investigations for inclusion within an EIA as required necessary. We can also provide advice on the best strategy and have developed techniques and criteria as a method of assessing impacts on archaeology.
