I joined L – P in early 2000 as an archaeological consultant, and am now based at the East of England Office. I am on the Council of the Institute for Archaeologists and in charge of maintaining the company’s standards of archaeological work as IFA Responsible Post Holder for L – P : Archaeology.
During my time with L – P I have managed a number of different projects all over the world ranging from project managing large master-planning projects to implementing a new conservation management and monitoring system for a candidate World Heritage site in Ukraine
I specialise in digital archaeology and take a very active role in the digital archaeological community. This generally involves attending and presenting papers at relevant conferences and also pushing the digital agenda within my working life. In addition to this I am one of the moderators of the Antiquist mailing list, a collection of heritage IT specialists. I take a great interest in exploring new ways of recording archaeological data to maximise the level of data recovery whilst ensuring efficiency in the field.
