Qualifications:BA MA MIFA
Started at L - P:2000
Expertise:Project Management and Public Archaeology
Interests:Public Archaeology

I studied at the Institute of Archaeology at UCL and joined L – P in 2000. I am based in the London Office where I specialise in fieldwork and excavation management. The diversity of L – P’s projects and clients mean that I have worked across the British Isles and have a wide ranging knowledge of the geology and archaeology of the country. Major projects I have worked on recently include the Roman salt production site at Middlewich, Cheshire.

My expertise within the commercial archaeology sector is the ability to swiftly and efficiently excavate and record archaeology on site, and quickly produce high quality reports that satisfy both the client and Local Authority. I have worked on many development sites, both greenfield and urban, and have experience in building recording and sympathetic building conversion.

I am interested in Public Archaeology and completed my MA in 2001 with distinction and soon after started as a regular field archaeologist and presenter on Channel Four’s Time Team, contracted through L – P.
