I joined L – P in the spring of 2005. I am Office Manager for archaeological consultancy and digital services at the London office. As head of L – P’s growing Digital Department I am responsible for GIS applications and on-site survey, the ongoing development of the ARK system, and L – P’s Digital Outreach initiatives. I also serve as a project manager and consultant for archaeological projects.
I first studied Anthropology and Statistics at McGill University in Montreal in 1999, and have since completed a Masters of Science in Geographical Information Systems at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London. My studies have focussed on the interpretation of Prehistoric landscapes using computer technologies.
Working with L – P I have developed an interest in digital recording systems for archaeological excavation. Through my involvement in projects such as Villa Magna, Italy and the Thames Discovery Programme, I am looking to develop new ways to present archaeological data to development teams, archaeological projects, and the wider community.
